The Rook
The Rook is a one of a kind tiny home, designed in collaboration with a visual artist. Built from start to finish on a steel trailer frame, this distinctive dwelling boasts 300sqft of interior living space, complete with a vaulted ceiling, large custom kitchen, bathroom, tiled shower, and plenty of storage. Outside, a large deck overlooks the surrounding landscape, while an intricate shingle pattern sits above a corrugated steel skirting. Two mirrored dormers provide additional light and ventilation, while adding visual dimension to the roofline. Designed for comfortable living, The Rook stands as a testament to the functionality and artistic charm of tiny home living.

Painter's Perch
Made for a Cowichan Valley painter, this timber balcony offers a quiet retreat. The large dimension Fir combined with a rebar railing gives a sense of warmth and security on the road-facing side of the home. Adding strength and architectural interest, the mortise and tenon beam connection becomes a defining feature of this balcony, showcasing craftsmanship and the use of locally milled wood in its construction.

Sahtlam Sanctuary
Set against a longstanding log home, this expansive East-facing deck stands as the perfect vantage point to welcome the sunrise. Crafted from mill-sawn lumber, it features a sturdy Fir frame supporting stained Yellow Cedar railing and deck boards. The large dimension timbers complement the substantial timbers of the adjacent house. Constructed with hidden fasteners, the decking offers a smooth, planed surface that invites leisurely mornings and barefoot relaxation.
